Experimentswere carried out in a tilting flume. Observations and measurements showed that the velocity anddensity profiles nondimensionalized with integral scales, in the same current but at different stationswere the same. Furthermore, there was a fairly good similarity between the velocity profilesmeasured for types of currents flowing on different slopes. The dimensionless density profilesmeasured in different current types were not similar.
